Theoretical considerations of tactics in team sports

Starting with a summarized presentation the components of performance, the purpose of the present paper to describe and analize the theoretical aspects os tactis in team sports. A classification of sports is given on the basis of the following parameters, viz.: a) systematization of actions; b) type of participation; c) characteristics concerning the presence or obsence of physical contact. This leads to a tactics in each sport discipline, characterizing the high level of demand of this capability in team sports. The description of the development structure of team sports precedes the analysis of their characteristics. The description and analysis make the understanding of the different meanings of the expression "tactics" easier, as well as its division on the basis of its features and function. Thus, definitions are given for individual, group and team tactics. The paper also covers theoretical contents comprised by overalltactical capabilities, their direct influence on tactical principles and the way by which the latter reflects upon the practice, action and behavior of the athlete in training and competitionIniciando com uma sucinta apresentação dos componentes do rendimento esportivo, o artigo objetiva a descrição e análise dos aspectos teóricos da tática nos esportes coletivos. Apresenta-se uma classificação dos esportes baseada nos parâmetros de: a) sistematização das ações; b) tipo de participação; c) características do esporte em relação à presença ou não de contato pessoal. Isto conduz a uma hierarquização do componente tático em cada uma das modalidades esportivas, caracterizando as altas exigências em relação a esta capacidade nos jogos esportivos coletivos. A descrição da estrutura de desenvolvimento dos jogos esportivos coletivos precede a uma análise das características dos mesmos. A descrição, assim como a análise facilitam o entendimento do significado das diferentes definições do termo tática e a divisão metodológica em relação a característica e função. A seguir são apresentadas definições de tática individual, grupai e coletiva.
