The present paper is the study of a collection of Triassic shells in the Gorumbatahy Series made by the author in the municipal district of Rio Claro in the State of São Paulo. Smaller collections made in the gaine region have been studied by K. Holdhaus (1918) and F. R. Cowper Reed (1982). The exceptionally fine preservation of the material in this collection has permitted a reconsideration regarding morphological details and of systematic values. Two new genera have been proposed, viz.: Jacquesia and Pinzonellopis, for the forms formerly referred to by Reed as Myophoriopis Whormann and Pachycardia Hauer, respectively, and four new species have been described: Pseudocorbala camaqnensis, P. triangularis, Anodontophora intricans and Pinzonel...
