Por uma Teoria da Atuação

On a theory of acting intends to consider some aspects of the acting practice in western theatre, proposing its organization on a “theory of the actor and the actress”, which draws a field of study differentiated from the general theatre theory. Still with no clear contours, this territory could be defined as being related to the practice of the actor and the actress, its procedures and knowledges, throwing lights towards a history of the actor and the actress. The building of this field implies in the examination of the actors poetics, from bibliographical and field research, and demands the constitution of appropriate criterion for critical appraisal, differently from the standards produced by the focus on the play-writing and staging, despite of the frequent exchanges with them. This analysis spread to the suggestion of some working methods, in particular concerning the creation of an experimental laboratory focused on the creative processes, where practice and theoretical reflexion should dialogue; opening ways for the investigation of acting pedagogy, the actor’s training and the performer’s participation in the theatrical performance.Por uma teoria da atuação apresenta alguns aspectos do fazer atoral no teatro ocidental e propõe uma “teoria do ator e da atriz”, na qual se desenha um campo de estudos destacado da teoria geral do teatro. Ainda sem contornos claros, esse território poderia ser definido como sendo relacionado à prática do ator e da atriz, seus procedimentos e saberes, com reflexos em uma história do ator e da atriz. Sua estruturação implica na pesquisa de poéticas atorais, a partir de investigações bibliográfica e de campo; requerendo a constituição de modos de valoração crítica próprios, diversos dos constituídos a partir da dramaturgia e da encenação, ainda que em troca constante com as mesmas. A análise estende-se para a sugestão de metodologias de trabalho, em especial, a criação de um laboratório voltado para processos de criação, onde dialoguem a prática e a reflexão teórica, abrindo caminho para a investigação do ensino da interpretação, do treinamento atoral e da participação do(a) intérprete na criação espetacular
