This paper defends the hypothesis that the constant presence of storylines in critic texts that analyse contemporary scene creation suggests we are facing a new literary genre, or sub-genre, in expansion, yet with no defined name, which stands between scientific analysis and fiction. From this remark, the figure of the critic-rhapsodist is outlined, who not only describes and analyses the theater experiences, but uses and reconfigures them from his reading.
