A Study on ADL of an Old Old Woman Living Alone

Old women may have to live alone nowadays because of various factors such as general longevity and husband's earlier death. When living alone, for the sake of their health they must eat various kinds of food. This study examined a healthy woman whose diet was as varied as young people. She consumed both animal and vegetable protein together with fruit, which gave her a sufficient mineral and vitamin intake. In order for an old woman to live alone it is thought that in addition to good health and good diet she must be without any great anxiety, have a strong independent spirit, sufficient human relationships and activities commensurate with her age.13KJ00004265251departmental bulletin pape
