Type Analysis of the Pedestrian Space

One of the problems in modern society is to plan the pedestrian space in cities. We are eager to look for high quality pedestrian spaces that exist in our modern society, organize similar patterns and refer them for the future planning. Ultimately, our goal is to bring back the pedestrian space that has been removed by cars. Therefore, we extracted the main contents of the pedestrian space by collecting 100 attracted samples and understanding their properties with a multivariate statistical analysis. We made a simple model according to those main contents, examined the effectiveness of the model, and proposed it as a method to be useful for the future planning.
