A study about the space composition of the city square

The purpose of this report is to examine the spatial structure of the city squares in Europe area by the design survey. The city squares as the purpose of this study are the space for the people activity. It is difficult to understand the character of space form, because this public space for gathering people has flexibility. Now in this study it takes aim at the 3 elements, the facilities that means architectures have the function, the spaces and the equipments that means the object have the effect on people activity, for example, benches, steps, fountains and so on.
