ASSENTAMENTO 17 DE ABRIL (PA): O (RE )ENCONTRO COM O TERRITÓRIO CAMPONÊS

This paper is the result of a research developed in "17 de abril" Settlement, in the state of Pará, and presents in the study of inside organization of the rural workers in the referred settlement, region formerly occupied by a landless encampment and target of the disastrous "Eldorado dos Carajás" slaughter. Turning the page of this conflict and considering the more general and embracing process of the struggle four land in Brazil, this study points to the continuity of the land conquest in the same place, concerning now the struggle in land. The analysis is turned basically to the dynamics and strategies of the settled group organization, as well to the vindication of agricultural incentives, supportingthe settlement´s economic feasibility political joint though the structuring of an agrarian reform project and, at last, the (re)construction of the peasant territory.Este artigo é resultado de uma pesquisa desenvolvida no Assentamento 17 de Abril (Pa) e apresenta o estudo da organização interna dos trabalhadores nirais no referido assentamento, antiga região ocupada por acampamento dos Sem-Terra e alvo do desastroso massacre de Eldorado dos Carajás. Virando a página deste conflito e atentando para o processo mais geral e abrangente da luta pela terra no Brasil, este estudo aponta a continuidade da conquista pela terra na mama localidade, agora tra-tando da luta na terra. A análise está voltada basicamente para as dinâmicas e estraté-gias de organização do grupo assentado, bem como para a reivindicação de incentivos agrícolas, garantindo a viabilidade económica do assentamento, articulação política através da estruturação de um projeto de reforma agrária c, por fim, a (re)construção do território camponês
