Peter Sloterdijk. A Mediologic Deconstruction of Philosophy of Language - This paper focuses on Peter Sloterdijk’s philosophy of language: the analysis shows the movement that leads him to reject language as the centre of reflection and to replace it with a broader analysis focused on contemporary communication systems (“mediology”). In the first section, the premises and theoretical grounds of Sloterdijk’s linguistic analysis are presented, whereby language is related to to the issue of birth and death. Then the perspective of Sloterdijk’ “Philosophy of Media” is introduced and discussed in relation to Marshall McLuhan’s thought
