Afrontamiento y calidad de vida en mujeres con cáncer de seno: revisión bibliográfica una mirada desde la psicología de la salud

This bibliographical review found that there is a positive correlation between active strategies and c.v. and a negative correlation between passive strategies and C.V.; This influences the stage of the disease and the psychosocial situation of the patient.El cáncer se ha convertido en una de las principales causas de mortalidad durante los últimos diez años, a nivel mundial; el de mama es el más frecuente y ocupa, además, el primer lugar en las tasas de morbimortalidad, lo que afecta la esfera biopsicosocial del individuo, incidiendo en la percepción de la calidad de vida (en adelante C.V.) y en la forma de afrontamiento de la misma. Varios autores en diversos momentos han hecho revisiones de las estrategias de este padecimiento físico que afecta la calidad de vida, utilizando instrumentos que evalúan diversos aspectos de la enfermedad y la percepción de la misma. En esta revisión bibliográfica se halló que hay una correlación positiva entre estrategias activas y C.V. y una correlación negativa entre estrategias pasivas y C.V.; en esto influye el estadio de la enfermedad y la situación psicosocial del paciente
