Entre la teoría y la realidad: una revisión reflexiva sobre los procesos de intervención de niños con trastorno negativista desafiante

It is common that in infancy conducts of oppositional behavior of the norm and the figures of authority appear, it is presented a stable pattern in time and involve a significant deterioration in the relations that the child has established - besides of other factors – we can speak of Oppositional defiant disorder. The present article was born from the research experience in neuropsychology rehabilitation and psychosocial rehabilitation of children with this disorder. In the text, in a first moment are presented some generalities on the Oppositional defiant disorder; later there are exposed the biological, social and psychological factors that affect in the etiology of Oppositional defiant disorder, besides the role that complies the executive functions and other processes such as the attachment, the self-esteem and the recognition of the norm; then, I narrate my perception about the intervention process carried out with the Antares’ School children and there are exposed some elements that are presented like pertinent to have in consideration before, during and after the intervention process. Finally, there are presented some conclusions about the experience of intervention.Si bien es común que en la infancia se presenten conductas de desafío a la norma y a las figuras de autoridad, el que estas se presenten de forma reiterativa e impliquen un deterioro significativo en las relaciones que el niño ha establecido, ocasionó la emergencia de la categoría diagnóstica del “trastorno negativista desafiante” (TND). El presente artículo de reflexión emerge de una experiencia de investigación en rehabilitación neuropsicológica y psicosocial de niños diagnosticados con trastorno negativista desafiante (TND). El texto se desarrolla en un primer momento con la presentación de algunas generalidades sobre el trastorno negativista desafiante (TND). Después se exponen los factores biológicos, sociales y psicológicos que inciden en su etiología, además, el rol que cumplen las funciones ejecutivas y otros procesos, tales como: el apego, la autoestima y el reconocimiento de la norma en este trastorno. Posteriormente, se narra mi percepción sobre el proceso de intervención que se realizó con los niños del colegio Antares y se exponen algunos elementos que se presentan como pertinentes para tener en consideración antes, durante y después del proceso de intervención. Finalmente, se exponen algunas conclusiones fruto de la reflexión en torno a la experiencia de intervención.
