The primary purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of in-house training programme along two levels; management and outcome. The effectiveness of in-house training management was based on five dimensions namely readiness, planning training implementation and maintenance. The outcome level is evaluated on three dimensions namely knowledge, skills and attitudes. This study also attempts to determine the correlation between management level and the outcome level of in-house training programme. 180 questionnaires were distributed to the various secondary school teachers in the district of Padang Terap and Pendang, Kedah Darul Aman. 167 respondents or 92.8% completed and returned the questionnaires that were then analysed for ...
