This research is intended to identify the factors affecting the officers and other ranks interest in becoming instructors at the Army Training Centre. Three independent variables were identified from the literature review expected to influence the interest in becoming the said instructors. The independent variables are additional jobs, lack of knowledge and less freedom. All independent variables were identified based on opinions by scholars such as Powers (1992), Hutching (1992), Zhu dan Liu (1989). Wan Azmi (1982), Good (1982), Collins (1988), Taylor (1966), Hill dan Clement (1960), Herriot (1995) dan Rogoff (1987).
