P(論文)The purpose of this study is to compare the dental caries prevalence of permanent teeth in primary school children in Urausu with the national survey. We also investigated the frequency of tooth brushing and eating between meals. The dental caries prevalence in Urausu was 69.47%, lower than that in the national survey. The means of the DMF, D, and F teeth were respectively lower than those of the national survey. The proportions of untreated children and teeth in Urausu were higher than in the national survey. Dental caries prevalence of permanent first molars was relatively high. The relationship between the frequency of tooth brushing and dental caries was not clear in this study.
