The aim of this study is to obtain a better understanding of risk perception about HIV and AIDS among adolescents and emerging adults in Kosova. Qualitative methods were used to examine the risk perception of HIV and AIDS. In total there were four focus groups that were organized from two target groups: adolescents and emerging adults. Seven to eight subjects were part of each focus group. Thematic analysis was used as a method for the analysis of focus group transcripts. Result showed that male perceive more the risk of getting infected with HIV and AIDS compared with female. Therefore, the perception of risk towards HIV and AIDS in both targeted groups, adolescent and emerging adults, is low
