KONTROVERSI AMANDEMEN KONSTITUSI JEPANG

This study observes the controversies surrounding the plan from some elements in Japan politics to amend Japan constitution especially in article 9 on military capabilities and Japanese position as a pacifist state. This plan has sparked the opposition to it both from domestic left-wing party, NGO and states mainly from East and Southeast Asia. The opposition from domestic and international thus played a major role in Japanese politic as the government still postponing the plan
