Bilateral relations between China and Japan to be one of the key factors that determine the security and stability in East Asia. Historical factors into the early rivalry of the two countries in the dynamics of their relationship. Enmity has always been a pattern that characterizes the relationship between China and Japan so inclined to suspect each other feel threatened by each other. Therefore, both countries sought to strengthen their weapons systems to anticipate emerging threats from each country. Moreover, China is currently modernizing its armed forces, which automatically triggers Japan to do the same thing.
