Problemli mobil telefon kullanım ölçeğinin Türkçeye uyarlaması

The aim of the study is adaptation of the “Problem Mobile Phone Use Scale ” which was developed by Bianchi ve Phillips (2005) to Turkish. In order to adapt the scale, firstly scale items were translated to Turkish by the researcher. Then translation form was further developed by consulting ten specialists. English and Turkish forms of scale were both filled by 30 undergraduate students with two-week intervals respectively. Two forms were accepted as equal since the correlation between them was 0.78. Turkish version of the scale was implemented on 300 students for validity and reliability studies. In Turkish version of the scale alpha valid value was calculated as 0.94, and reliable value vas calculated 0.88. Therefore, it can be concluded that Turkish version of the scale was reliable and valid.Araştırmanın amacı, Bianchi ve Phillips (2005) tarafından geliştirilen “Problemli Mobil Telefon Kullanım Ölçeğinin” Türkçe’ye uyarlanmasıdır. Uyarlama çalışmaları çerçevesinde öncelikle ölçek maddeleri araştırmacılar tarafından Türkçe’ye çevrilmiş, dokuz uzmandan görüş alınmış ve çeviri görüşler doğrultusunda geliştirilmiştir. Oluşturulan İngilizce ve Türkçe formlar iki hafta ara ile iyi derecede İngilizce bilen 30 lisans öğrencisi tarafından doldurulmuştur. İngilizce ve Türkçe formlar arasındaki korelasyon değeri 0.78 olarak hesaplanmış ve her iki ölçek eş değer kabul edilmiştir. Ölçek geçerlik-güvenilirlik çalışmaları için 300 öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. Ölçeğin Türkçe formu için Cronbach alfa iç tutarlık katsayısı 0.94, güvenirlik katsayısı ise 0.88 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Elde edilen bu değerler sonucunda ölçeğin Türkçe formu geçerli ve güvenilir olarak kabul edilmiştir
