Türkiye’de laiklik sorununun siyasal temelleri

Ayrıca Türkiye'nin, Batı dünyasından farklı olarak, neden dini alanı bizzat devlet eliyle kurumsallaştırmaya ve bunu devletin toplum üzerinde egemenlik kurma arayışının bir aracı ve uluslaştırmanın itici bir gücü olarak kullanmaya çalıştığı sorusuna da cevap aranacaktır. Bu cevap arayışında öncelikle, laikliğin Batı'daki uygulamalarına bakılacak, ardından Osmanlı ve Cumhuriyet döneminde din ve devlet ilişkilerine değinilecektir
