ホイクショ ゲンバ ニオケル ヒョウカ ジッセン : Practical Assessment of the Young Child

As steps are taken to prepare children for education, we must also better prepare environment for children. This is especially important for young children. Schools and homes as environment must be able to educate all children effectively. To prepare a suitable environment for education, educators should discover a variety of innovative ways to assess childrenﾕs growth and development.However, it was not until 2007 that the word, ﾔassessmentﾕ would be used in GUIDELINE FOR NURSERY SCHOOL, published by Japanese government. That is, education and care for the young child have been done without ﾔassessmentﾕ for many years. Suddenly, in 2007, Japanese government declared that all day-care-centers should send ﾔthe records to support childrenﾕs growthﾕ with ﾔassessmentﾕ up to elementary schools.Now is the time to think of ﾔassessmentﾕ to record, review, and make progress in our education and care. Moreover, now is the time to study on practical use of assessment for the young child
