This project includes a review of relevant research in the field of higher education in regards to student success initiatives. This project takes the form of three publishable articles. The first article was an application project involving collaboration between multiple student support services and involving advising and graduate consultation meetings for an at-risk student base. The results of the article showed eliminating barriers for at-risk students led to a higher number of credits achieved. Raising the bar for students helped them to meet and sometimes surpass the bar.
