Today, there are two distinct types of law reviews, the national and the local. The former reviews decisions and legal problems of every jurisdiction, and serves to apprise lawyers generally of recent legal developments. The latter deals with the problems of a single state as a source of information to the attorneys thereof. The Washinigton Law Review belongs to the latter category. As the vast majority of its subscribers are members of the Washington legal profession, it is considered desirable and proper that it be devoted primarily to the Washington lawyer.
