Human Rights have evolved to the point of recognizing collective nature rights as well as ethnic minority rights (article 27, International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, adop- ted by the General Assemble of the United Nations on December 16th, 1966). This article explains how the ethnic minority rights can be categorized as human rights. This research is analytical-conceptual based, it uses the deductive method and those of legal interpretation such as historic, systematic, sociologic and either teleological or finalist, and concludes by identifying some criteria, which might be used as a cornerstone to include collective rights as those of the ethnic minorities – in the same contemporary discourse of human rights.Los derechos hum...
