P(論文)A study was made of the behavioral characteristics and Interaction between mother and infant at birth and at 1 month and 2 months of age in 18 normal infants (8 boys, 10 girls). After making observations and collecting data on M. C. C. Baby Test at 6 and 12 months of age, the following conclusion of the relation of mental development were arrived at. (1) Infants who had active behavioral pattern and who suckled actively showed higher D. Q. (Development Quotient) (2) Infants who didn't regain their birth weight because of continual vomiting and who didn't lose neonatal jaundice before they left the hospital, generally showed lower D. Q.
