In this work, the observed climate information was adapted to be analyzed and compared with epidemiological information at the level of health jurisdictions, in the state of Veracruz . Applying simple statistical methods, the possible existence of relationships between maximum temperature, minimum temperature and precipitation with dengue rates was explored in the period 2006 to 2016. Although some characteristics were identified about the periodicity and persistence of the incidence of dengue, with similarities to the weather patterns, statistically no significant relationships were found between climate and epidemiology in this study, perhaps due to the aggregation of the epidemiological data on the monthly scale.
