Una primera aproximació als fogatges catalans de la dècada de 1360

In the course of the "War of the Two Peters", the 1360's represents for Catalonia a period of great fiscal pressure manifested in the introduction of the fogatge, the first general tax levy based on the family unit (foc). Despite the importance of the period and the great number of sources which it produced, the finances of the decade in question have not been studied up to now. The present article represents an initial approach to the financial records of that time through the medium of the fogatge. As well as reviewing previous works, new perspectives and approaches to this subject and its sources will be proposed.[fr] Pendant la décennie de 1360-1370, en pleine "Guerra de los Dos Pedros", la Catalogne connaît une des périodes de plus forte fiscalité. Protagoniste majeur de la fiscalité montante de cette époque est le fogatge, impôt dont la perception donne lieu au premier inventaire général de feux de la region. Malgré l'importance de cet impôt et des sources rattachées à sa perception, la fiscalité de cette période n'a pas reçu l'attention que elle méritait. Cet article essai d'aborder la question des fogatges à partir de nouveaux données; un bilan de la bibliographie concernant cet impôt est d'abord dressé, pour presenter, ensuite, les nouvelles perspectives que la documentation inédite offre à son étude
