Digital educative practices are a new field of research in educative linguistics. Practices, like synchronous teleconference sessions, have their own characteristics that need new theoretical and methodological approaches. This article aims to present a sample of analysis, by combing existing tools both from educative discourse and also digital interaction analysis. Specifically, its aim is dual: to highlight the role that the affordances of the digital medium play on shaping teaching practices, but also to show how the ideology of those practices shape technologies
