Dependence of linear displacement error, while measuring with angle transducers, on angle measurement system errors, kinematic and geometric errors of mechanism of linear motion transformation to rotation is shown. Dy-namic processes, acting in an elastic element, connecting a movable compound, which linear displacement is measured, with the shaft of the angle measurement transducer, are modeled. Vibration modes, influencing the uncertainty of linear displacement measurement by an angle transducer, are defined. Results of numerical study by using FEM are verified and complemented by experimental research. Re-search stands and equipment are described
