The paper analyses decision support processes for evaluation of the long-term trends of economic transition in Central and Eastern Europe under the conditions of EU enlargement and the processes of globalisation. The general and specific trends are describes and compared analysing situation before and after EU enlargement, as well as the tendencies in the future.
