The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between continued sports activity and the recovery process in lower back pain. Subjects' recovery programs were determined to be either good, or of no value. In addition, the recovery approaches used by the subjects were judged to be either effective or of no value. A population of 30 university athletes was selected for this study. 17 of the subjects were males and 13 of the subjects were females.
