Introduction: Optical properties of different resin composites may affect the correspondence between tooth color and its structure. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate and compare the optical properties of 8 commercial composite resin materials with 1 and 2 mm thicknesses. Methods: 32 resin composite disks with 10 mm diameter and 1 and 2 mm thicknesses were prepared. Color parameters of the specimens were measured by Easy shade II/Vita device on black and white backgrounds.
