Andrew Cogswell discusses growing up in Montana, attending the University of Montana in the mid-1920s, and working as a newspaper reporter in the late-1920s, before becoming a professor in the University of Montana’s School of Journalism for 15 years. Pauline Cogswell, who also worked as a newspaper reporter until 1931, describes Missoula’s economic status during the Depression, as well as entertainment during that period.
