He describes the trajectory of his career, which evolved from working as a part-time seasonal employee with the U.S. Forest Service to working in forestry and wildland fire for the Bureau of Indian Affairs for 32 years. McCrea discusses working part-time as a wildland fire consultant after retiring in 2009.
