DIAGNOSTICS AND EVALUATION OF SEGMENTS OF TRANSPORT CAPACITY OF THE REGION

In the article the criteria for evaluation of transport in terms of key indicators that affect the selection of the carrier company have been grounded. Further development of individual segments of the transport capacity is a determining factor and a prerequisite for the dissemination and promotion of industry and services in the region. Improving the competitiveness of the region is impossible without identifying and evaluating the potential vehicle segments. The author offers an overall evaluation of transport capacity segments, enabling transport organizations to choose the most attractive conditions for cargo owners to focus on those performance indicators that are causing the most dissatisfaction with the users of transport services. Also, the author proposed rating scale for each segment of transport capacity in the region on the operating length for calculating the index of general cargo. The paper adapts a general index in aggregate form, with the help of which one can get the index of total cargo. The article concludes that the issues of evaluation and diagnostics of vehicle potential are not still considered. Further development of its individual segments is the determining factor and condition of distribution and promotion of industry and services in the region. The output of domestic product results due to the active use of national and regional transport networks, with the characteristics of the geographical location, land, technical and operational descriptions of industrial and backbone networks. The acceleration of these problems is important not only for the transport sector, but also for the region in whole. The role of transport in the development of foreign economic relations, geopolitical potential of Ukraine as a transit country become more and more important. From a theoretical point of view, the article is meaningful for further analytical studies of transport capacity and finding the solutions to the problems that prevent the development of the region competitiveness
