O romance marginal e la novela del sicariato: as representações da violência no Brasil e na Colômbia

In light of the proposal by Antonio Candido, in "The dialectics of roguery," and John Cezar de Castro Rocha in "The dialectics of marginality", this study intends to present the figure of the Brazilian trickster parallel to the marginal of society post -modern, through the work City of God (2002), writer Paulo Lins. Then if you want to compare this marginal with Colombian hitman represented in the work La virgen de los bravos (2008) by Fernando Vallejo. It is intended, therefore, to reflect on representations of violence through the paths of the protagonists of both works, discussing the structure of these texts - in this case, the fait divers Barthes in City of God and kitsch, La Virgen de los sicarios (2008 ) - in order to seek an answer to this violence portrayed, in addition to reflecting on the reception of these works by the contemporary reader.À luz da proposta de Antonio Candido, em “A dialética da malandragem”, e de João Cezar de Castro Rocha, em “A dialética da marginalidade”, este estudo tem a intenção de apresentar a figura do malandro brasileiro paralelamente ao marginal da sociedade pós-moderna, através da obra Cidade de Deus (2002), do escritor Paulo Lins. Em seguida, pretende-se fazer uma comparação deste marginal com o sicário colombiano representado na obra La virgen de los sicários (2008), de Fernando Vallejo. Pretende-se, portanto, refletir sobre as representações da violência mediante as trajetórias dos protagonistas de ambas as obras, problematizando a estrutura desses textos – no caso, o fait divers de Barthes em Cidade de Deus e o kitsch em La Virgen de los sicarios (2008) – de maneira a buscar uma resposta para esta violência retratada, além de refletir sobre a recepção destas obras pelo leitor contemporâneo
