A marine biologist, Dr. Nightingale has guided the expansion of the Vancouver Aquarium’s leadership in conservation and research during the past 20 years, turning the aquarium into one of the “greenest” cultural institutions in Canada. His passion for promoting awareness of biology and public outreach has led to the implementation of new communication technologies and other innovative public education programs at the Vancouver Aquarium.
