In this talk, I will try to present an overview on the recent progress made in the description of propagation phenomena in nonlocal reaction diffusion equations. Starting with epidemiological data that motivate the study of nonlocal reaction diffusion equation, I will present past and recent results for some homogeneous nonlocal models .
