This paper provides theoretical context as support for my thesis exhibition entitled Scale InSight a participatory locative media art project in a public space. It documents the creative process of the of thesis project. The art installation Scale InSight is the construction of a corposcape, an imaginative landscape created and experienced by the body as opposed to a mindscape created by the mind, and one that augments the existing corporeality/landscape. This particular corposcape consists of sound compositions, created from elevation data of nearby mountains and narrative descriptions from blind individuals, creating an acoustical representation of the environment.
