The purpose of this exploratory study was to evaluate the experiences of women who had donated their eggs to help a family member, friend, or acquaintance become a parent. An experimenter-generated questionnaire was distributed to all donors who had participated in the egg donation program at Genesis Fertility Centre since the egg donor program's inception in 1999. Of the 29 women who were able to be contacted, 20 elected to complete and return the questionnaire for a response rate of 69%.
