Previous studies have shown a link between oral health and quality of life in older adults. To further explore this relation the question was asked: How do older adults describe the connection between their oral health and their quality of life? The purpose was to explore the link between oral health and quality of life with a group of older adults. The research utilized a case study method. Thirteen independent living elders, ranging in age from 65 to 80 years, participated in tape-recorded interviews. The interviews were structured and followed an interview guide.
