This dataset is a derivative work under the “Terms of Use for The Plant List” http://www.theplantlist.org/1.1/terms/ that (a) converts The Plant List version 1.1 CSV files into a Darwin Core Archive, and (b) adds identifiers (e.g., DOIs) and complete bibliographic details to the original citations for many of the plant names. The Plant List http://www.theplantlist.org/ is a working list of all known plant species. Version 1.1, released in September 2013, aims to be comprehensive for species of Vascular plants (flowering plants, conifers, ferns and their allies) and of Bryophytes (mosses and liverworts).
