Engraving from a tract by John Spittlehouse (bap. 1612, d. in or after 1657). Line engraving after unknown artist, showing an Anglican prelate, the Pope (with three heads and various Catholic symbols at his feet), a Presbyterian and a prosperous gentleman, who points and mocks all three with the words 'Cry aloud for he is a God'. The verse on p. 1 opposite gives a commentary on the image. The letters in brackets relate to the passages from Scripture referenced in the left margin.
