Pengelolaan Arsip Statis pada Badan Perpustakaan, Arsip dan Dokumentasi Provinsi Sumatera Utara

This research place of the library, archives and documentation of North Sumatera. The purpose of this research was to determine the management of the archives in the preservation of information of the library, archives and documentation of North Sumatera. Management of the achives in the library, archives and documentation of North Sumatera include the collection of archive, create a list of descriptions temporary archive, archive labeling, storage, archival placement, maintenance, retrieval of archive and rescue. Coordination and cooperation among relevant units will facilitate the execution of the work and create a conducive working conditions, so as to facilitate the achievement of objectives in the archival preservation to the public Penelitian ini bertempat di Badan Perpustakaan, Arsip Dan Dokumentasi Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Pengelolaan Arsip Statis Dalam Upaya Pelestarian Informasi Pada Badan Perpustakaan, Arsip Dan Dokumentasi Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Pengelolaan Arsip Statis Pada Badan Perpustakaan, Arsip Dan Dokumentasi Provinsi Sumatera Utara meliputi pengumpulan arsip statis, membuat Daftar Pertelaan Arsip Sementara ( DPAS ), Pelabelan Arsip, Penyimpanan, Penempatan Arsip, Pemeliharaan, Sistem temu balik Arsip Statis, dan penyelamatan. Koordinasi dan kerjasama yang baik antar unit terkait akan memudahkan pelaksanaan kerja dan menciptakan kondisi kerja yang kondusif, sehingga memudahkan pencapaian tujuan dalam pelestarian arsip kepada publik
