Perlindungan Hukum Terhadap Nasabah dalam Asuransi Syariah (Studi di PT Sun Life Financial Syariah Kantor Cabang Surakarta)

Sharia insurance is insurance based on the concept of mutual help between humans. In the Sharia insurance agreement there is a relationship between the customer and the insurance company. Existing arrangements are used to regulate each party in carrying out their rights and obligations properly. Legal protection arrangements for customers have a basic foundation, namely Sharia Platform which is guided by Al-Qur’an, and Al-Hadith and Legal Foundation which contain rules such as Law No.40 of 2014 concerning Insurance, Government Regulations, Decrees of the Minister of Finance, and fatwa of the National Sharia Council. The formulation of the problem in this study discusses the issue of regulating legal protection for customers in sharia insurance, as well as legal protection for customers' rights in bad faith agents in sharia insurance at PT Sunlife Financial Syariah Surakarta Branch Office. This research uses descriptive research and empirical-juridical approach methods. The location of this research is located at PT Sunlife Financial Syariah Surakarta branch office. The results of this study discuss the arrangements for legal protection of customers in Islamic insurance, as well as legal protection for the rights of customers in bad faith agents in Islamic insurance at PT Sunlife Financial Syariah Surakarta Branch Offic
