Hubungan Antara Pendidikan Dan Kepatuhan Mengkonsumsi Tablet Fe Terhadap Kadar Hb Pada Ibu Hamil Di Puskesmas Ngoro Kecamatan Ngoro Kabupaten Mojokerto Provinsi Jawa Timur

Introduction: Pregnant women are one of the vulnerable groups in nutrition who are at higt risk of anemia. One of the factors causing anemia in pregnant women is education and compliance of consumsing Fe tablets. In Ngoro health center, anemia case in pregnant women increased from 25% in 2017 to 37,01% in 2018. Objective: This study aimed to find out the correlation between education and adherence to consume Fe tablets on hemoglobin levels in pregnant women at Ngoro Health Center, Ngoro District, Mojokerto Regency in East Java Province. Research Methodology: This research belonged to descriptive analytic with cross sectional study design. The sampling technique used total quota sample of 48 people. Data collections were taken through methods for educational variables, compliance comsuming Fe tablets with questionnaires and Hb levels by Hematology Analyzer examination. Analysis of data used Chi square. Results: The results showed that of the 48 samples that had advanced education 60,42% and basic education 39,58%. Comply to consume Fe tablets of 60,42% and non-compliant consume Fe tablets of 39,58%. The incidence of non-anemia was 62,5% and anemia was 37,5%. P value for the relationship between education and Hb level of 0,04 with OR 4.321 (CI 1,243-15,025) and P value for the correlation between adherence to consume Fe tablets with Hb levels of 0.008 with OR 6.571 (CI 1,800-23,984). Conclusion: There was a correlation between education with Hb levels and there was a correlation between adherences to consume Fe tablets with Hb levels
