Drink cans are materials that cannot be decomposed in the soil and have aluminium content at 92,5 to 97,5%. It can be used for producing potassium alum which can add the economic value of canned waste. This research is intended to study the reaction kinetics of alum made from canned aluminum waste. The variables studied in this study are time and temperature. This research was conducted with add H2SO4 7M, 20% KOH concentration, with a reaction time 10 minutes, 20 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 60 minutes and operating temperatures 700C, 800C, 900C.
