Minat Berwirausaha Ditinjau dari Peluang Usaha dan Status Sosial Ekonomi Orangtua pada Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Akuntansi Angkatan 2016 Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta

The purpose of this study was to find out: (1) the influence of the business opportunity to the student entrepreneurial interest. (2) the influence parents' socioeconomic status to the student entrepreneurial interest. (3) the influence of the business opportunity and parents' socioeconomic status to the student entrepreneurial interest. This research was a type of associative quantitative research with comparative research design (causal - comparative research). The population of this 2 research are students class of 2016 of accounting education program Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta with 333 students, using the Isaac and Michael method with an error rate of 5%, a sample of 167 students was taken using a proportional random sampling technique by lottery. Data collection techniques were obtained through a questionnaire method that has been valid and reliable and documentation methods. Data analysis techniques used multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, coefficient of determination, relative contributions and effective contributions. The results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained regression equation Y = 20,951 + 0,320X1 + 0,277X2. The equation shows that business opportunities and the socioeconomic status of parents affect student entrepreneurial interest.
