Photographic work from the series 'Rays a Laugh' was exhibited in 'Life/Live', ARC, Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, Fundação das Descobertas, (5 October 1996 - 5 January 1997), curated by Hans-Ulrich Obrist. This exhibition was a comprehensive snapshot of the emerging Young British Art scene in London during the late 1990's. Participating artists included Angela Bulloch, Jake & Dinos Chapman, Mat Collishaw, Douglas Gordon, Mona Hatoum, John Latham, Steve McQueen, Sam Taylor Wood, Gillian Wearing, Cerith Wyn Evans, Leigh Bowery, Gilbert & George, Liam Gillick, Damien Hirst, Sarah Lucas, Richard Wentworth and others. There was a fully illustrated two volume catalogue to the exhibition
