n the paper is developed a new control strategy for the adjustable speed drives. The strategy consists in the energetic optimal control of the dynamic regimes as starting, stopping and reversing. The main developed problems: formulation of energetic optimal problem, solution, experimental results via simulation and some considerations concerning the use of the control. The optimal developed solution can be applied for the both AC and DC drives, but only for linear systems
