In order to fill the gap between propene supply and demand, the oxidative dehydrogenation of propane (ODHP) is an alternative solution to the direct dehydrogenation process. Vanadium-modified hydroxyapatites (HAp) are bifunctional catalysts combining acid-base and redox properties which were shown to be of interest for the ODHP reaction. In order to optimize this system, the aim of the work was to investigate the catalytic behavior of the vanadium-modified hydroxyapatites and to establish structure reactivity relationships.
